The Deconstructing of Friendships

Long time no post blog!

I've come to the realization that a lot of the friendships I've held dear since High School are being to end or have already ended. How have I come to this you may ask? Allow me to explain.

Last Friday, I went to go see Spider Man 3 with friends. While waiting for my brother to get there, I ran into a old friend of mine. What did said friend say (we hadn't seen each other in almost a year) "Hey". That's it. I wasn't too upset they didn't stick around. It was opening night for the movie and the lines were growing and if you wanted a good seat you needed to get in fast. So after the movie, I texted said person asking what they thought of the movie. My response...Nothing!!! This is not the first time this has happened with said person. They continually ignore any message I send. And there my friends is the problem. I understand that everybody is busy in this day and age but how hard is it for most of you to send a message saying "I liked it" or "It wasn't that good"? Not hard at all. I HATE BEING IGNORED

Another friend of mine. I send said person a message asking what fun things they were doing this summer and that maybe we could get together in August when Mickey got back. Their response? Again Nothing. I think this all stems from a huge blow up between myself and a former friend who sadly is friends with all the people I try to contact. I won't go father then that

It just makes me said that all contacts I try to make with most (not all) of my friends with High School get ignored. I know your all busy and I'm not good at getting the word out to all of you (I especially owe an apology to Betty who I have been neglecting) but this is just how I feel. Keep it real

Good to see you are back...I found your blog some time ago (before Beta) when you could still click on people's interests (LXA).

Oh well...keep it up!
