So as I said before, I had to leave Circuit City. Nor only for my sanity but for my checkbook as well. As I'm sure many of you know, this country is going through a economic recession. It's not easy to find work, but needless to say I was trying to find work. It didn't go very well the first 4 months I was looking. Then my dad said he saw the cell phone kiosk inside Sam's was hiring so I gave it a try. I had an interview with the manager and afterward he said I was his number one pick...I didn't get it. That sucked and so I continued my search with no luck. Then one day out of the blue, the manager of the kiosk calls me again (this was almost 2 months later) saying that the other guy didn't work out and if I was still available for it. I said yes but ran into a conundrum. Should I quit Circuit City outright or should I give it a month and then quit? Well the kiosk gave me the answer I needed. They offered me $8.53 an hour plus commission with 25-30 hours a week. That sealed the deal and I gave Circuit City my two weeks (which was technically a one week)
And that brings us to the present. I've been working at the kiosk for about 3 weeks and it's great. Kinda boring but what job isn't? If any of you need to re-up your contract on your cell phone or are looking to switch providers then stop by. It helps you by getting a cheap price on a phone and it gives me money too.
Next time. I'll bring up how things are socially for me
