Reviving a dead art
So.... *looks around* Anyone still alive here?
I felt like coming in and bringing this blog back from the dead. So I guess I'll give it a whirl.
Well what hasn't transpired since the last post. I got a job at Circuit City shortly after that post. When I got the call I was so ecstatic, I was jumping up and down. Things were great in the beginning. My boss was kinda cool, sometimes a douche but usually alright. The Assistant Manager was alright and the other manager was HOT!!! No big problems....then the store manager got another store in Indy. They brought in someone else.....A COMPLETE JERK!!! The assistant left and then a really cool guy showed up and well he was cool. Anyway the store manager had it out for me and was trying to get me fired. Well long story short, The DM didn't like my store manager and the store manager quit. By that time I had made up my mind. I had to leave. It was at first personal. I hatted the store manager and I hated having to put up with his crap on a daily basis. But with him gone, what reason was left for me to leave. My hours were going up and I liked the people I worked with. But two reasons remained. The first was consistency of hours. When I say my hours were going up, they were going up after 8 months of nothing for hours (like 8 hours a week or so). The other reason was financial stability. Let's be honest, Circuit City is going down like the Titanic. The Upper Management of Circuit City has not a clue what they are doing. So with that I began to look for another place to work.
I'll pick this up for the next post. So you might ask, Is this blog returning? I'm gonna try and post weekly here for now. Could use a creative outlet. Ask for the others, I don't know but stay tuned for further updates from me.
