I thought I'd write a sentence about myself.

It took me awhile to find this blog again after being given the link by Ryne because I don't blog, nor have I ever, despite being an Englishy person who, having just spent a good 45 minutes grading a paper, went to put said grade into Blackboard and found out the student dropped my class, which led me to take a break (grading has its many shoot-myself moments) and write a sentence about myself, and although you'll find that I don't often have much to say, when I do I have a dry and sarcastic perspective, perfect for things such as making fun of Alaskans and Ryne and Freshmen Composition students (no offense if you are, or ever have been, a composition student, as I myself have been) so perhaps fun stories will find their way here later, such as why Alaskans proudly display their state flag on their-um, everything in sight-for I cannot imagine seeing a resident of New Jersey walk his flag-touting dog unless it's being used to collect poo.
